FINDING WAYS TO HONOR THE TRAILBLAZING WOMEN OF THE PAST & FUTURE.

Talk: 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Reception: 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

In 2014, people across the world saw a lead scientist from the world space agency appear on international television to talk about the "Philae Lander" mission wearing a shirt covered in scantily-clad women. It became known as "That Shirt."

Our guest speaker ELLY ZUPKO responded by designing "That Other Shirt" featuring 50+ notable women in STEM.

Elly is a communications specialist, inclusivity, equity and diversity activist, and founder of a non-profit called SMLX Good, which supports programs for girls in STEM.

This presentation is in celebration of Ada Lovelace Day celebrating women in STEM.
