LEAD First Year

LEAD First Year provides an overview of both academic and social strategies to adapt to university life. By the end of the program participants will be better prepared to manage their academics, co-curricular involvement, and navigate campus resources. All participants who complete the program will also receive recognition on the Co-Curricular Record.

Each week upper year students from the Department of Student Life and International Student Centre will run workshops that cover the following topics:

  • Tips on adjusting to university classes and school work
  • Information about campus-wide support and resources
  • How to get involved and make the most of your time at UTSC.

To sign up for update and more information, please email leadership@utsc.utoronto.ca. Please note, all first-year students already registered in the First Year Experience Program will automatically be registered to participate in LEAD First Year.
