From left to right, each column corresponds to viscosity contrasts of 10^5, 10^6, and 10^7, respectively.
The surface temperature, reference temperature and activation energy are identical in all calculations. The maximum viscosity is capped at a maximum value that yields the indicated contrast. The minimum viscosity (at the core mantle boundary) is the same in all cases.
