On November 15th, 2017, Campus Safety and Security team joined with Habitat for Humanity to bring a group of volunteers to the Pinery Trail build site in Scarborough. This year, this event was supported by the Healthy Campus Initiative as we gave out Healthy Campus swag items to all participating volunteers.

Habitat for Humanity GTA is a non-profit housing organization that bring communities together in Brampton, Caledon, Toronto, and York Region to build homes with local families in need of affordable housing. We are one of 1,400 affiliates worldwide working to build safe, decent and affordable homes that help families break the cycle of poverty. Every year, we partner with families, volunteers, donors and municipalities to build between 30-50 homes in Toronto, Brampton, Caledon and York Region.
