Appointment Cancellation

The UTSC Health & Wellness Centre requires adequate notice for appointment cancellations.  This ensures that appointments are available to support students. 

If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment, please call the Health & Wellness Centre any time at 416-287-7065. If you leave a voicemail, please include your name and the date and time of your appointment.

Cancellation of an appointment requires at least 24 hours notice (excluding weekends, holidays, and University closures). Failure to give the appropriate notice, so that another student can receive service, will result in a $30 charge or more depending on the type of appointment.

Unpaid invoices from short notice cancellations or a no-show will result in a hold being placed on your ROSI/ACORN student account, which impacts access to your transcripts.

Missed Appointment Fees
Short-notice cancellation is less than 24 hours (excluding weekends, holidays, and University closures) before the appointment starts 

Appointments with a Family Doctor
Short-notice cancellation or no show........................... $30.00


Appointments with a Nurse
Short-notice cancellation or no show........................... $30.00


Appointments with a Psychiatrist
Short-notice cancellation or no show:
for a longer appointment.............................................. $100.00
for a shorter appointment............................................. $50.00


Appointments with a Counsellor
Short-notice cancellation or no show............................$30.00
