Coping Ahead

When facing a stressful situation, it is helpful to practice different strategies beforehand. Anxiety can often affect our ability to recall information and make decisions, so it may be too overwhelming to ask yourself to make decisions when you are in a stressful situation. By choosing and practising which strategies you would like to use in the moment, you lessen the demand on your brain to make decisions.
