Management Alumni Executive Team

The Management Alumni Association (MAA) continues your University of Toronto experience after you graduate.

Inspired by the University of Toronto’s motto Velut arbor aevo—“May it grow as a tree through the ages”—we believe that by strengthening the bonds between alumni and our alma mater, the MAA will positively contribute to our alumni’s personal and professional growth. With our collective experience and knowledge, the association will also seek to foster the continuous development of U of T Scarborough Management as the premier undergraduate business program in Canada.

From networking socials to professional development and community engagement, it’s all about making meaningful connections!

Sabrina Fanelli

Sabrina Fanelli is a Senior Associate, National Accounts with BMO Global Asset Management (GAM). Sabrina joined BMO GAM in 2019, working on various teams including Advisor and Institutional Mutual Fund Distribution Channels, ETF Portfolio Management, and Global Strategic Initiatives. Prior to joining GAM, Sabrina also held positions in Retail Banking and Anti-Money Laundering at BMO. Sabrina graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration with High Distinction from UTSC in 2019 and is a CFA Charterholder. Sabrina is also passionate about leading and participating in women advancement initiatives and has been a Girl Guide Leader since 2012, and founded the Women in Business Association student group at University of Toronto in 2017. Sabrina can regularly be seen presenting at events for students regarding building investment knowledge and navigating a career path in finance.

Chris has been a part of MAA since 2021. Having graduated from UTSC's Management program in 2008, he has furthered his education in the field of human resources. Chris has invested in giving back to the Management community through support on the MAA, participation in various alumni events and contributing to UTSC committees.

Dr. Chris Ling (BBA 2010) is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University. Dr. Ling holds a PhD in Business Administration (Marketing) from the Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina, where he was a Presidential Doctoral Fellow. He also holds a MSc in Management from the Smith School of Business, Queen’s University, and a BBA in Marketing from the University of Toronto. During his time at UTSC, he was on the senior executive team of MESA, in the roles of Vice President of Business Development and Executive Advisor.

Alison Pui See Ng

Alison studied Management and Finance at the University of Toronto Scarborough. While she was a student, she was the founding President of the Scarborough Toastmasters (SCTM) and also worked for the Management Co-op department as a work-study student for two years. She joined the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region as an Executive Officer after graduating from UTSC in 2016, and she recently completed her Master's Degree in Public Administration at the University of Hong Kong. Alison has served on the MAA since 2021.

Andy graduated with both a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in 2018 and Master of Accounting and Finance (MAccFin) in 2019, partaking in the inaugural MAccFin cohort at the University of Toronto Scarborough. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) having spent three years at Deloitte LLP as an Auditor for publicly listed corporations. Currently, he works as a Senior Financial Analyst at TMX Group.

Ahnaf is a third-year Co-op Management and Finance student at the University of Toronto Scarborough. He currently serves as the Co-President of the Management and Economics Students' Association (MESA). Through his role in MESA, Ahnaf seeks to forge impactful partnerships with external organizations to enhance opportunities within the Management community. He recently finished a co-op at KPMG as a Technology Risk Consultant and will be joining AT Kearney in pursuit of a career in Management Consulting. Ahnaf takes great pride in his affiliation with the MAA and eagerly anticipates fostering stronger connections between esteemed alumni and the vibrant student community on campus.

She aims to make a positive impact on people's lives by working with everyday brands and products. In the future, she dreams of owning a restaurant to share her passion for food with the world. Suchi's mission is to actively contribute to the community, absorbing valuable lessons, fostering personal growth, and establishing connections with esteemed alumni. She sees MAA as a platform where her enthusiasm for management and marketing can thrive, providing opportunities to learn, contribute meaningfully, and build lasting relationships with the Management alumni network.
