Hack the Valley is one of the biggest and most hyped hackathons in Toronto. We get participants from all over the world and we send buses all across the east coast of Canada to pick up students. We are the second-largest hackathon in Canada, with 3.6k applicants in 2018, and also the only one to hold a Women in Code Summit.

We are putting together another hackathon, HTV IV, from February 14th-16th, 2020! The applications for HTV IV will be available from January 1st to 31st, 2020 and anyone is welcome to apply.

One of our newest initiatives is the Global Hackathon Sustainability Standard, which is necessary to commit to reducing waste, recycling meals and helping ensure our event holds the platinum standard of sustainability and is a hackathon you can feel good about participating.

We love getting people from different places and different backgrounds all in one place where they can come up with amazing ideas and have one of the best experiences in their university life.
