Is an artist simply an artist? Or is an artist a product of the forces that constrain them - colonialism, technology, the finite limits of their mortal life? The Shell is an intriguing time travel story that asks questions about the nature of art, and what it could mean to live forever. Based on the short story Message in a Bottle by acclaimed speculative fiction author Nalo Hopkinson, The Shell is a performance project that fuses physical theatre, music, interactive installation, and more. “It’s your ticket to the future.”
