It's the start of Pride weekend!
U of T Scarborough staff, faculty and students gathered in front of the Art & Administration building today to celebrate the raising of the "more colour, more pride" flag and transgender pride flag on campus.
The new flag includes black and brown stripes, recognizing people of colour in the LGBTQ+ community.
The ceremony included speeches from principal and vice-president Wisdom Tettey who spoke the campus' commitment to allyship and representation for all LGBTQ+ voices on campus.
