For some of us, our mothers or mother figures have influenced our love for cooking and food. This holds true for Lis Lam, community chef and food blogger of the submissive table. Join Lis as she shares her food story and shows us how to make Tteokbokki (spicy rice cake) and Gimbap (Korean seaweed rice roll).

Transition from your home country to Canada: Women's status
What does it mean to be a woman living in the Global South or the Global North? What opportunities would a woman be presented with - and are there better opportunities in your home country than Canada? Or have you found more endearing ways to get involved here? Join the International Student Centre virtually, during International Women's Week for an open dialogue on the experience female-identifying immigrant students and staff have had both in their home country and upon arriving to Canada.

Women's Writing Circle -International Women's Day
The Women’s Writing Circle is holding a special edition expressive writing session in honour of International Women’s Day. This is open to all U of T Scarborough staff who identify as a woman. Staff and faculty can sign up through the Intranet.
