Rameez Ansari, UTSC Management Alumnus

Rameez is an experienced CEO and investor having led various companies in North America and Asia. He is currently the Co-CEO of AutoLeap, a vertically focused B2B SaaS start-up within the auto repair space. Rameez was formerly the Co-CEO of FieldEdge, which was sold to a mega cap private equity fund. Earlier in his career, Rameez worked as a management consultant at BCG. In 2018, Rameez received an EY Entrepreneur of the Year award. Rameez holds a BBA from UTSC and an MBA from Stanford GSB.


Steve Lau, UTSC Management Alumnus

Steve is currently the Co-CEO of AutoLeap. Prior to AutoLeap, Steve was a Partner at Whitecap Venture Partners, a Toronto-based venture capital firm. Steve also served as Co-CEO of FieldEdge and helped to scale the company from 25 to 200 employees. Earlier in his career, Steve spent several years with CPPIB and worked in investment banking at TD Securities prior to that. In 2018, Steve received an EY Entrepreneur of the Year award and in 2019, he was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40. Steve holds a BBA from UTSC and an MBA from Wharton Business School. 


Umar Mir, UTSC Management Alumnus

Umar is currently the Chief of Staff at AutoLeap. Before joining AutoLeap, Umar was a Private Equity investment professional at Onex Partners and an M&A investment banker at RBC Capital Markets prior to that. Umar holds a BBA from UTSC.


Kyle is currently the SVP of Finance, Product, and Operations at AutoLeap. Kyle was previously the Director of Finance and Operations at HiMama and served as Director of Customer Success at FieldEdge prior to that. Earlier in his career, Kyle was an investment banker at BMO Capital Markets and a Private Equity Associate with Highland Creek Partners. Kyle holds an HBA from Ivey Business School. 


The founding team leverages its network within the finance, management consulting, and entrepreneurship fields to assemble a team of industry experts who have significant experience in their respective fields (i.e., senior professionals from consulting firms, investment banks, private equity firms, etc.). These industry experts assist in the delivery of program curriculum and allow LFP students to gain exposure to professionals in their chosen field.
