The BRIDGE is a state-of-the-art academic facility that emulates contemporary work environment. With a finance and data lab that reflects the needs of trading floors, bookable offices and a boardroom for student entrepreneurs, a library with cozy armchairs, modular co-working spaces, and seating for special events, The BRIDGE offers students an unparalleled learning environment to apply the theory they are learning in the classroom.
We offer three distinct spaces on the ground floor of the Instructional Centre building that are available for events or meetings. We have technology available to reserve, including screens and presentation tools to support presentations, video conferencing, and more.
The BRIDGE Library includes soft seating for reading or study, as well as several bookshelves housing popular reading materials, reference materials such as CPA, CFA and FRM study prep, and books on leadership, entrepreneurship and startups, business planning, finance, and quantitative finance. As part of the University of Toronto Libraries, The BRIDGE Library provides access to an extensive collection of business information in print and digital formats. Staff provide teaching and learning services, and research support for UTSC’s community of business researchers and entrepreneurs.
The BRIDGE Lab is a state-of-the-art experiential learning computer lab featuring 50 double-monitor terminals and 4 Bloomberg terminals. The lab features powerful, specialized software including Capital IQ and FactSet, among others. The space is limited to students currently enrolled in Management courses.
The BRIDGE Boardroom is a sleek, modern space featuring leather chairs, a modular table, and a screen with built-in video conferencing. Students enrolled in the New Venture Program can access the space for meetings, and has a capacity of 12 people.
