Cyberculture and the Anthropology of Cyberspace

"Cyberspace" is an undefined territory but it is a fertile ground for social, and in particular, anthropological inquiries. This week we look at online communities, gender and digital divide, and personal cultural identifies on the Internet. We also discuss emerging theories on cyberculture and its formation.
