Winter Welcome

The International Student Centre will host a Winter Orientation new international students and incoming exchange students.  The orientation will include how to handle winter blues and adapt in a new environment.  Lunch will be provided.  New students may join a tour to the classrooms before class starts.  

This event is for new and exchange students starting classes in the Winter 2024 term.

To commence the Winter Welcome series, join us for the Winter Welcome Celebration! The Winter Welcome Celebration is a celebration of the new semester as well as a celebration of the winter season! Starting at the Student Centre, there will be various outdoor activities like ice sculptures, guided hikes, a bonfire, and winter games! There will also be free food, giveaways, prizes, and more!

Join Campus Safety for ball hockey! Shoot a ball at a hockey net to hit targets in the net. Prizes such as granola bars, fruits and other healthy snacks for hitting the targets. 

A welcome and mix & mingle to all Black Identified Students of Afro, Caribbean, Canadian Communities. 

Explore different classes and programs at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre (TPASC) during Free Trial Week! Make sure to explore classes like:

• Jazz (Jan 16, 8:10pm-9:00pm)
• Latin Dance (Jan 17, 8:10pm-9:00pm)

The #WellnessUTSC Fair, in collaboration between the Health & Wellness Centre, Athletics & Recreation and AccessAbility, looks forward to helping you refresh your Wellness Resolutions! With over 30 booths hosted by the Health & Wellness Centre Wellness Peer Program, campus departments, student clubs, and community organizations, the UTSC community will be engaged with interactive activities, prizes, education about all the resources available to support your goals in 2024!

Come check out our 2024 Winter UTSC Clubs Fair to see what clubs are available within our community.  Meet new friends, learn what clubs are on campus, and JOIN A CLUB!  If you dont find a club that suits your needs, gather four other friends and START A CLUB!

The Winter Clubs Fair will take place over 3 days on Tuesday January 23, Wednesday January 24 and Thursday January 25 from 1:00pm-3:00pm.
