Required for: This course is intended for staff in Property Management, Project Management, Building Maintenance (e.g. Trades, Utilities, Facilities Management, Building Engineers) and other office-based staff who may enter lab spaces from time to time (e.g. Business Officers).
Includes: Online course (approx. 45 minutes), followed by a quiz with a passing mark of 80%.
Description: This course covers the following topics: laboratory hazards, lab permits, lab decommissioning, security, exposure, hazardous waste, safety with respect to biological / chemical / radiation hazards, and other general considerations when working in a lab.
