The TRACES Centre is a state-of-the-art analytical facility on the UTSC campus. It contains all the modern instruments required for a leading-edge chemical, environmental and physical science department. The Centre provides advanced instrumentation for a diverse field of users, including undergraduate students, graduate researchers, and principal investigators. The laboratories also provide the necessary training and hands-on access to the technologies of the future, allowing UTSC students to develop essential research skills in chemistry and environmental sciences. Specializing in environmental analysis, TRACES conducts research on food chemistry, polymers, soil and sediments, civil engineering, and a range of other disciplines.
The TRACES Centre is located in room EV216 on the 2nd floor of the Environmental Science and Chemistry Building at the UTSC Campus.
