HCS Remembers Nancy El-Gindy

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Nancy El-Gindy. She is remembered at HCS as an excellent TA in our history and women's and gender studies courses who expertly led tutorials and was always generous with helping and providing feedback to students. A promising young researcher, she was an accomplished scholar and PhD candidate in the Department of Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations (NMC). We mourn her loss and send our condolences to her family and friends. NMC will be holding a memorial to honour her and more details will be announced in the coming weeks.
