AIDS initiatives across the University of Toronto: Convergence Roundtable

On the occasion of the XVI International AIDS Conference in Toronto, August 2006, President David Naylor is pleased to host a University of Toronto Convergence Roundtable, on Monday, July 31, 2006, 3:30-5:30 p.m., in the Governing Council Chamber at Simcoe Hall, 27 King’s College Circle. A reception will follow in the Quad at Hart House.
Faculty, students, and staff from the University of Toronto are contributing in significant and meaningful ways to the biennial International AIDS Conference, at which participants from around the world will share the latest evidence, ideas, and lessons learned in HIV/AIDS research, policy, and programming.
Moderated by President Naylor, the Convergence Roundtable will provide an opportunity for University of Toronto scientists, students, researchers, policy makers, and others involved in the AIDS Conference as presenters, organizers, delegates, or volunteers, to exchange ideas and profile their contributions. It will also serve to foster an enhanced sense of community among University of Toronto participants.
For faculty, staff and students involved in the International AIDS Conference and/or other AIDS initiatives at the University of Toronto, please contact leadership@sa.utoronto.ca no later than July 14, to receive an invitation to participate in the Convergence Roundtable.
