The seasons of time mark the seasons of man as we see a young boy learn hard lessons in life. As each season progresses, we see the boy grow up and repeat his failures under the eye of his master, the holy monk of the floating monastery. The passage of time brings slow learning and understanding through death, love, suffering and redemption.
