New art exhibition at Gallery 1265

Gallery 1265 presents Masquerade, a solo art exhibition of works by emerging artist and UTSC student Fayruz Abdiaman, who explores cultural rituals of her African homeland in her paintings. Through her vibrant work, the artist goes on a journey of self-discovery as she completes her identity.

The show opening takes place on Wednesday, Jan. 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. and the exhibition continues until Monday, Feb. 2. Regular hours are 12 noon to 4 p.m. Admission is always free. Gallery 1265 is located in The Meeting Place (next to Tim Horton's) at U of T Scarborough.
