The DMG is opening a new show next week, so wanted to provide you with information on Peter Smith: You May Find Yourself. For more details, click here.

Running from March 3 to April 14, 2010, the exhibition will feature Peter Smith's wall assemblages, sculptures, and large-scale prints. Packed with images, textures and colour, the works are dense, full of wonder and absolutely compelling. Peter uses the detritus of our days - scrap wood, pom poms, dollar store items - to express his unique perspective on the urban experience. A video component in which Peter describes his experience with mental illness, with candour and subtle humour, will also be included in the exhibition.

We'll be hosting an opening reception on Wednesday, March 3 from 5 - 8 pm, with food (free sushi!) and drink.

Upcoming programming includes:

Monday, March 8, 7:15 - 8:45 pm (AA112)
