The University of Toronto Scarborough community, through a number of initiatives, is expressing its solidarity and support for the people of Haiti who are enduring a great loss of life and suffering as a result of the devastating earthquake of January 12th.

- On Tuesday, January 26, a vigil, organized in part by the Scarborough Campus Students Union (SCSU), will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in Rex’s Den on the Lower Level of the Student Centre.
- Our campus celebration of International Development & Culture Week during the week of February 8-12 is all the more poignant given Haiti's longstanding need for development support. - Many in our community are seeking ways to contribute financial support to relief efforts. Through our International Development Studies co-op office, we have long-standing relationships with organizations who have a direct role in relief efforts. They are:
