(1) Meet the Paper: Writing Strong Introductions Tuesday, September 21, 2:00-3:00 pm
Participants in this hands-on workshop will learn strategies to introduce their ideas in well-structured opening paragraphs that set up a strong thesis.
(2) Understanding Your Assignments Wednesday, September 22, 1:00-2:00 pm
This workshop focuses on how to interpret the instructions, goals, and priorities in assignment sheets from diverse courses.
(3) Grammar Hot Spots Thursday, September 23, 10:00-11:00 am
Addressing FAQs on grammar problems, this lively refresher course demystifies dreaded rules of English.
