(1) Using Research Effectively Oct. 13 (1 - 2 pm), Oct. 19 (10 - 11 am) This workshop demonstrates techniques for incorporating research smoothly and responsibly in academic writing, with tips on citation formats (APA, MLA, etc.) and avoiding plagiarism.
(2) Grammar Boot Camp Oct. 14 (10 - 11 am) Participants in this interactive workshop develop their grammatical muscle by wrestling with common writing problems, on display in fun examples of bad writing.
