Biography

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote Combined Degree Programs for the Master of Teaching and the Master of Environmental Science to department staff, faculty, students and clubs/unions on campus.  

• Create/edit content for promotional materials  

• Attend In-Person Fairs and In-Class visits  

• Liaison with Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) Admission Team regarding Admission requirements, necessary exception requests and application process/submissions  

• Liaison and coordinate with Dept. of Physical & Environmental Sciences – preparing to promote the Combined Degree Program - Master of Environmental Science  

• Support students in Year 3 preparing and submitting CDP-MT graduate application 

• Meeting with students (interested/potential applicants) from Year 1 to 3 on an on-going basis– ensuring they are aware of their academic resources and on track to meeting the requirements.  

As Combined Degree & Programs Coordinator, Pam Kinsey provides student support to prospective, applicants and approved students in the Combined Degree Programs and Certificates. Pam builds and sustains relationships with undergraduate students to ensure individual success. She also administrates and works with academic leadership, students, and departments to promote and provide support for existing and future Combined Degree Programs (CDPs), Certificates, and other inter-divisional departmental curricular initiatives.

Pam started working at University of Toronto in 2012 providing academic support to students, and advising in registrarial and departmental positions. She has a desire to positively enhance and influence a student’s learning experience and a commitment to support student success.
