The Artist Book is an exhibition of selected works by students from Hiba Abdallah Fall 2022 Digital Publishing course. The exhibition will be on view at the library until Jan 31st, 2023. The exhibition was made possible by Head of Liaison Librarian Program, Paulina Rousseau.
Digital Publishing is a Studio Art course that explores the publishing of artworks in formats such as zines, short-run printed catalogues and found books. Students spend the semester learning about the history of artists’ publications, editorial and image preparation skills, and broad range of theoretical strategies to assemble images, graphics, and texts into conceptually and aesthetically considered publications.
The exhibition features work by Neville Avila, Xinyi Cai, Tingting Feng, Keita Fujiyama, Hans Li, Kiu Kiu Mak, Myuri Srikugan, Fan Sun, Luyan Zhang, Qin Zheng Sun, and Zhehan Zhou.
