Illustrator Basics Workshop

Learn how to work with Adobe Illustrator CC, the leading software in vector-based graphic design. Hosted by Illustrator expert, Claudia Wong, this workshop will review the platform's interface, how to set up a document for various needs (e.g. print vs. web), and how to use selection, pen, text, shape, colour, and texture tools. During this workshop, we will work on a poster project to help you build and integrate your Illustrator skills.

Photoshop Basics Workshop

This workshop will review the platform's interface, demonstrating the basic use of the tool kit to crop and retouch photos, while maintaining the highest quality output, including printing professionally. The facilitator will also demonstrate the most efficient ways to perform common tasks to improve the look of your photos.

Microsoft Excel Workshop

This introductory and intermediate workshop will enable students to construct spreadsheets and prepare graphs. Students will also learn how to design and create professional workbooks using many of Excel's powerful features. Creating formulas, formatting worksheets, using numeric formats, and working with multiple worksheets are just a few of the topics covered in this workshop.

Premiere Pro Basics Workshop

This hands-on workshop will show you the fundamentals of video editing, color correction, title creation, effects application, and more. We will review the software's interface and the different workspaces that will allow you to understand the use of various tools as well as how to output your content for different online platforms. Manolo adopts a creative approach to video editing that will explore Premiere Pro from the perspective of art production.
