Biography
Julian A M.P. (Pivato, he/them) is an artist and a queer, trans-masculine, white settler residing in Tkaronto. Recent projects include "Pictura: Essays on the Works of Roy Kiyooka" with Guernica Editions, Poets Barrio TV as one-half of Private Robots on the Squint _ _ _ _ _ _Press label and "Four Transitions in Water and Light, in Artworks for Jellyfish, edited by Amanda Boetzkes and Ted Hiebert.
Julian’s studio practice is situated alongside his membership in pandemic parenthood and disciplinary transition. They work with drawing and time-based media.
