Healthy Campus Advisory Committee
The UTSC Healthy Campus Advisory Committee is advisory to the campus’ Executive Team as they undertake initiatives to promote, support, and enhance health and wellbeing in all facets of campus life and the academic mission. The committee will guide and oversee the development and implementation of the UTSC Healthy Campus Plan over its lifespan and ensure alignment with UTSC’s vision, values, and strategic priorities.
Objectives:
1. Ensure that the priorities of the UTSC strategic plan, Inspiring Inclusive Excellence: A Strategic Vision for the University of Toronto Scarborough (2020- 2025), are pursued in the HC plan
2. Develop a robust and holistic Healthy Campus Plan for UTSC that is reflective of the needs of our community as a whole (students, staff, and faculty)
3. Ensure that the academic, research, co‐curricular, and community outreach ambitions of UTSC are pursued through the “Healthy Campus” plan
4. Promote and support unique and innovative teaching, learning, and research opportunities that align with a healthy living philosophy
5. Explore synergies and foster existing partnerships with a vested interest in the university’s commitment to providing students, staff, and faculty with a healthy learning and working environment
