Principal's Healthy Campus Walk Series

In response to the success of his walking meetings, Principal Bruce Kidd launched the Principal’s Healthy Campus Walk series to promote healthy, active living in the workplace.  The one hour meetings take place monthly all year round and incorporate themes which resonate with health and wellness and promote sustainable practices.

On June 16th, we had our Principal's Healthy Campus Walk where we had a chance to learn more about the Accessible trails, connecting the campus table lands at H-wing Patio to the lower valley lands. It was a beautiful day for a brisk walk while, learning about the new Accessible trail.

We were also joined by a special guest, Mayes Rihani, Senior Manager of Project Development and Management in Design & Construction Management.

On July 13th, we had our last Principal's Walk of the spring/summer term. Principal Kidd walked along some of the route fore the NAIG cross-country event. UTSC will be hosting various sports, including Badminton, Baseball, Cross Country and Swimming.

We were also joined by the Sneaker Squad UTSC, which is a drop-in program to help students, staff and faculty acheive their fitness goals.Scheduled runs take place twice a week, Tuesday 5PM to 6PM and Thursday 12PM-1PM. Find out more information here.
