University of Toronto Advance Planning for Students (UTAPS)

Financial Assistance at the U of T First Nations House

The First Nations House at the St. George campus helps undergraduate and graduate students access a wide variety of scholarships and grants. Financial Aid Advisors at UTSC and advisors at the First Nations House are available to meet with you to discuss financial aid opportunities available to Aboriginal students. 

Support from the Government of Canada

The Indigenous Services Canada Post-Secondary Student Support Program 

Financial assistance is available to First Nation and eligible Inuit students enrolled in eligible post-secondary programs. It aims to improve the socio-economic outcomes for First Nations by supporting First Nations in providing eligible students with funding to access education opportunities at the post-secondary level. Eligible costs covered by the program include tuition, books, travel support, and living allowances.  The maximum amount per full-time student cannot exceed $53,000 per year.
