As an international student, you can live either on or off campus. U of T Scarborough offers safe and comfortable student housing in furnished townhouses, suites and dormitories conveniently located right on campus. There are also many student housing choices close to campus or in areas surrounding U of T Scarborough.
Both on-campus and off-campus housing options have their advantages. You can decide what will work best for you.
Support Services
Together with U of T’s Centre for International Experience, U of T Scarborough provides many resources to help you successfully adjust to life and learning in Canada.
The International Student Centre (ISC) is a wonderful support resource for international and internationally-minded students at U of T Scarborough. Its team of professionals and student staff help welcome and orient international students into Canadian life, as a student at U of T Scarborough. Their diverse range of programs and services helps connect students with other important resources and services, including:
- Support and advice to students on many important matters including visas and permits, health insurance and banking
- English conversation practice
- Events and networking with other international students
- Work and volunteer opportunities
- Settling in the City programming to get accustomed to facilities and services across Scarborough and Toronto
