The University of Toronto Scarborough closes between the end of the Fall session exam period and beginning of Winter session classes. Residents must vacate during this time but may leave belongings in their rooms.

Students may make a request to stay in residence if they do not have alternative housing during the Winter Break. During the closure period the University is closed and services will be limited; there are no IT services, the Reception & Services desks are closed, and there are minimal staff on-site.

There is an additional fee for use of space during the campus closure period. Winter Break details are available on our Winter Break page.
