The Scarborough Campus Residence Council (SCRC) is the representative body of all students living in residence that are not employed by Student Housing and Residence Life. As one of the five student societies at the University of Toronto Scarborough, the SCRC is a levy-funded group meaning all residence students pay a fee to support its operations. In practice, the SCRC provides opportunities for residents to get connected with their community through planning engaging programming, running beneficial services, and advocating for the needs of students to the staff of Student Housing and Residence Life.
You can follow the SCRC on Instagram and check the weekly SHRL newsletter to see what the council is up to and how you can get involved.
