Deposit

To accept an offer of residence, you must submit the required deposit(s) as indicated by the due dates in your offer of residence email. The deposit is submitted using a credit card. You must be logged into the StarRez Portal when submitting your deposit(s). Do not pay deposits to ACORN.

The deposits will be credited to the your ACORN account and offset the remainder of the residence fees. Please allow up to 5 business days for the credit to be registered in your ACORN account.

Deposits are handled securely through Moneris Solutions, a third party authorized by VISA and Mastercard. Moneris provides the Student Housing & Residence Life Office with payment confirmation only. Student Housing & Residence Life will not have access to your credit card information. 

First Year students:

  • Deposit #1: $600 by June 15
  • Deposit #2: $1400 by July 15
     

First Year Wait List applicants:

You will only be required to pay a deposit when a residence offer can be made to you. You will be required to pay one non-refundable deposit.

  • Deposit: $1400 by the deadline stated in your offer email and within the StarRez Portal application

Upper Years 

You will be required to submit one non-refundable deposit:

  • Deposit: $1500 by the deadline stated in your email offer and within the StarRez Portal application
