To accept an offer of residence, you must submit the deposit as indicated by the due dates in your offer of residence email. The deposit is submitted using a credit card e.g. VISA, Mastercard, or American Express (VISA Debit cards are not accepted). You must be logged into the Student Housing Portal when submitting your deposit.
- First Year students applying for residence: $1000.00 deposit due by deadline stated in offer of residence email
- Summer Session students: $250.00 non-refundable deposit by due date indicated in your email
The deposit will be credited to the your ACORN account and offset the remainder of the residence fees.
Deposits are handled securely through Moneris Solutions, a third party authorized by VISA and Mastercard. Moneris provides the Student Housing & Residence Life Office with payment confirmation only. Student Housing & Residence Life will not have access to your credit card information. VISA Debit cards are not accepted.
Certified Cheque or Money Orders
We can also accept in-person deliveries or mailed certified cheque or money order, payable to the University of Toronto. Personal cheques are not accepted. If mailing a certified cheque or money order please ensure the student’s name and student number are clearly printed on the back of the cheque and sent to the following address by the deadline indicated in the email offer.
