U of T Scarborough is Fair Trade certified!

From the countless efforts of the UTSC Business Development office, The Office of Sustainability, and the Scarborough Campus Students' Union (SCSU), we have successfully brought in fair trade products and offer them on our campus.

Fair Trade is a social and environmental standard that helps protect food producers and the environment. It promotes safe labour practices, ecological and sustainable measure of production, and makes the supply chain clear by building meaningful long-term relationships with farmers and artisans, by paying them in accordance with fairness and decency.

UTSC is proud to be apart of this growing movement, taking lead on social and environmental systainability.
