Management and Finance (BBA) and Statistics (HBSc) Double Degree at the University of Toronto Scarborough

This is a Double Degree in Management & Finance (BBA) and Statistics — Quantitative Finance Stream (HBSc).

You’ll graduate with a prestigious BBA and HBSc from Canada’s top university in five years — it’s our accelerated pathway to a broad, widely applicable range of expertise in business, management, quantitative analysis and IT. You’ll also leave with valuable full-time work experience after completing three four-month co-op placements as part of your BBA with our co-op option.  

We focus on developing your skills in finance and quantitative methods, and giving you a comprehensive understanding of both the business world and quantitative aspects of the financial industry. Your education will combine two innovative programs:

• The Management and Finance program gives you a comprehensive background in financial issues and the practical problem-solving skills needed in current industries. Learn in small classes and get hands-on experience with advanced financial resources and technologies.
• Similarly, the Quantitative Finance stream of our research-intensive Statistics program equips you with the tools to solve real-world problems with data. You’ll gain a thorough understanding of financial markets, and develop the business and quantitative skills to work in them. This stream sets itself apart from similar offerings at U of T and other institutions through its intense focus on the mathematical, statistical and computer science background that underlies concepts of quantitative finance.
