Program summary

Molecular Biology & Biotechnology program is a laboratory-rich program that integrates an understanding of chemical and physical processes with our complex biological systems. Because of broad training in biology and rigorous cross training in cognate disciplines, graduates are well positioned to apply to professional and graduate schools or work in a broad range of government regulatory agencies, clinical or research-focused industries and other careers that require the union of strong analytical and technical skills.

The Biological Sciences at UTSC offer several distinct specialized programs. Students can choose from the Specialist Programs in Integrative BiologyHuman Biology or Conservation & Biodiversity, or the Major Programs in BiologyHuman Biology Molecular Biology, Immunology & Disease or Conservation & Biodiversity.

 

Interested in becoming a teacher? This program offers a combined degree option where you'll receive advanced admission to U of T's Master of Teaching program. You'll apply to the Master of Teaching combined degree option during your studies at U of T Scarborough.
